The Dog Days Are Over

Long Live Spooky SZN...

Hello Back Bay Blessings, happy Monday.

With October beginning this week, we wanted to share a friendly reminder that 26’ skeletons are now acceptable, but not recommended. As we glide into slightly cooler weather this week the limbo between Summer and Fall continues, as no notable events or headlines made their way onto our desks (a ban on NB smokeshops raised an eyebrow, but treaded too closely to the category of “crime”). We advise you take this week as a well earned respite to step back and regroup for the busy season ahead.

To our new readers—welcome! The Back Bay Buzz delivers just the right amount of news and events for locals in Newport Beach and Costa Mesa. No crime, no politics, no spam—just the good stuff. We scan newspapers, blogs, social media, business journals, and Google alerts so you don’t have to.

In today’s Buzz:

  • Ralph Lauren Cafe Coming to NB

  • The Night Market Continues

  • Movies in the park

Ralph Lauren Café Coming to Newport

Fun fact: Ralph Lauren did not invent the Polo shirt. That honor went to his predecessor, René Lacoste in 1926. Greek fraternities would never be the same.
