Pasta Sisters Comes to Costa Mesa
A penne for your thoughts?

Wow. 21 days into March and we’ve already lost our tan from Ski Week. The torrential rains certainly didn’t help. It doesn’t matter, we will shake it off. With the Spring Equinox arriving yesterday, it is officially time for warm weather activities, easter pastels, and the alarming realization that we need to book our summer travel plans like, yesterday. Lots coming up in the sister cities, also noodles are having a moment.
In today’s Buzz:
Pasta Sisters opens in Costa Mesa
Ramen Nagi Opens in South Coast Plaza
Weekend Agenda
Lot’s more added to “Plan Ahead”, RSVP early!
Let’s dig in!

Pasta Sisters Opens in Costa Mesa

Just in case you need to carbo load for beach season…
Ok, “open” is a bit of a stretch, as Pasta Sisters is currently available for delivery or pickup only via a “ghost kitchen” out of Costa Mesa Food Hall. However, this isn’t just a fly-by-night spaghetti operation. Founded by Francesco Sinatra and his sisters Francesca (naturally), Giorgia and mother/chef Paola Da Re, our research indicates that this pasta is no joke. After moving to LA from Italy in 2010, Francesco threw himself into learning the restaurant business, working his way up from a bus boy to a manager in a family restaurant until he had enough experience to open his own establishment alongside his mother Paola, who is the culinary mastermind behind the recipes. In 2015, Pasta Sisters was born. With a focus on authentic Italian cuisine, Pasta Sisters allows patrons to choose their own freshly made pasta and sauce for a custom experience, or choose from a carefully curated menu of entrees including chicken Milanese, chicken Scallopine, and roasted wild salmon. Look, this post isn’t sponsored by Pasta Sisters, but we are accepting applications and are willing to be paid in Bolognese. Please. Per favore?
